Creative ways to organize your jewelry collection

Do you have so many necklaces, earrings and bracelets that you don't know what to do with them? Tired of misplacing the mate to your favorite earring? I like jewelry, I buy it, I make it and I wear it. I have a tone of jewelry so I'm in your team)

Today I share some ideas I found in internet and I realized (of course not with my hand as I don’t know to work with frames). Use these ideas and you will have your jewelry collection organized and ready to use.

The first idea is earring holder made of a crocheted doily mounted on a frame.

Use photo frame easily found in every store or old vintage frame. Paint it if you don’t like color.  You can order frame in special shop as I did. The vintage rectangular crochet doily I bought on a local flea market. It can be replaced with piece of lace. Cut the lace to fit inside of the back of the frame. You may want to stiffen the lace by soaking it in a mix of glue and water and allowing it to try.

Staple your lace to the back of your frame. Staple from side to side, and corner to corner.

Doily allows you to hook dangling earrings where they can easily be grabbed.  This frame can be displayed horizontally or vertically to accomodate space. I keep it on my vanity table near washbasin.

From large wooden frame bigger than I used for earrings display necklaces display can be made. I ordered both in special shop so they are in the same shabby chic style and look great in my bathroom. I asked to close inside with MDF veneer and to place hooks where I signed.

Valentine's day handmade card with seed beads

Valentine's Day is just around the corner!!!  Why waste a lot of money buying a card, when you can make your own personalized card!
This is the way to give something special and also inexpensive to replace those mass-produced cards and bring a bigger smile to your loved ones’ faces.
This project is takes a few minutes and also customizable. It’s easy and adds a very glamorous touch to your love notes.

Matherials:
Blank Card
seed beads (use the color you prefer, I used mixed seed beads in blue)
Glue
Pencil

Use a pencil to hand write your personal message

Trace over your letters with glue

Add seed beads over all card (better if you make it over a big plate)

Bend the card allowing excessive seed beads to drop in the plate.  Add some bead manually if not all glue is covered. Allow time to dry.
Add a personal message to the inside of your card.

Lentil soup recipe

Lentil soup is fast, filling, nutritious and thrifty. Lentils are inexpensive and packed with fiber and protein. This recipe is great for people who decided to keep the fast.

You will need:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped finely
3 garlic cloves, minced
2-3 tomatoes
1 carrot
2-3 potatoes
½ cup of cream (facoltative)
2 cup of red lentils
Salt
1-1.5 l vegetable broth or water
fresh and dry mint

Peel potatoes, cut into medium pieces and put into a pan. Peel the carrot and chop it. In other pan fry chopped onion, carrot and garlic. When potatoes are half cooked add fried vegetables and tomatoes in pan. Put lentils and salt. Boil until soup is cooked. Put the mint and if you want put the cream. Pass the soup in blender.
Put in the plate and decorate with fresh mint.
Buon Appetito!

Trip to Rotondella... again

This weekend we decided to spend with friends in Rotondella, a small town between Basilicata and Calabria. We have been there several times for eat a rooster cooked in a small restaurant near town.

Since we went with our friends Katya and Antonio, so we decided to stop for the night. To spend weekend away from the home is great, especially with friends)
We arrived at 16:00, left out bags in the hotel and went on the beach  for a walk and watch the sunset. I forgot to say that Katya is not only my friend, but my model) so what were doing and what about our men were chatting we do not know, we were concerned makign a photo shoot!

In general, judging by the photos, our men also had fun)

The evening we spent in bowling, playing and eating pizza and then went to bed.
We spent the night not in the town, and a small agriturismo «Il Pago» next to him. Agriturismo - is a small hotel-restaurant with farm. «Il Pago» - was a very nice place, surrounded by orange trees and vinegroves. In the yard grew huge mimosa and despite January, it was all in bloom. And the smell was absolutely amasing! Why I love agriturismo's - is for unspeakable rustic country atmosphere, for immersion in nature.

Waking up, having breakfast, and collecting things, we went for a walk in the forest near Rotondella.

I did a romantic photo shoot for Katya and Antonio, we hope to repeat it, when it will be warm weather and I will make a little Love Story for them.

This is the small country restaurant-farm, where we had dinner.

then we gone for a walk in Rotondella and to take a coffee)
